Amy is an award-winning, dynamic, and analytical thinker with a proven track record as a Lecturer in Criminal Justice. She has led the co-design, development and delivery of Silver and Gold-level cyber crisis exercises for numerous global financial institutions, including bespoke simulations for UK banks and non-profit research organisations.
As a published author, Amy excels at translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language, supporting clients to build their capabilities in cyber incident preparedness and response. Her dedication to continuous learning and professional development ensures she remains at the forefront of a fast-moving cyber environment.
At Beyond Blue, she’s currently co-leading our thought leadership programme. Drawing on her academic background, she’s aiming to amplify sector impact and promote professional growth. Alongside her delivery work, Amy has played an active role in the development of new business and service offerings, supporting innovation and growth in the cyber resilience space. She brings a strong foundation in both primary and secondary research, producing evidence-based insights and practical recommendations that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
She holds GIAC certifications in Security Essentials (GSEC) and Foundational Cyber Security Technologies (GFACT) and currently contributes to the GIAC Advisory Board. Before joining Beyond Blue, Amy built a successful academic career, developing inclusive teaching strategies, managing core modules, and leading international educational initiatives. Holding a fully funded PhD in Criminology, she transitioned into the field of cybersecurity, driven by a deep interest in the complexities of cybercrime and the evolving threat landscape.
