Carl Hunt

Prior to joining Beyond Blue, Carl spent 12 years at KPMG, both in the UK and Singapore, where he was responsible for delivering a range of cyber services across sectors including Government, Defence, Telecommunications, Media and Technology, Insurance and Financial Services.  

In this role, he led a significant security transformation programme for a large mobile operator to reform their Cyber Security function, including redesign of their Information Security Management System and related organisational structures.  He was also responsible for leading an engagement to design the Cyber Security Operations Capability for a large government department, including using academic research and industry benchmarking to produce a detailed Cyber Security Operation Capability blueprint. 

As Head of Labs, he also led penetration testing, technical assessments, product evaluation, red teaming, purple teaming and assurance services, in both practices.

Prior to entering cyber security consulting, Carl enjoyed an international telecommunications career working in the UK, Asia and the Middle East, occupying a number of senior roles leading engineering, design and planning functions. In these roles, he was responsible for leading major transformation programmes and business modelling for new services and technologies.
